Krissy!!

When I was home this past week and a half, I dug through an old box of mine and found an essay I wrote for some state test in fifth grade.  The topic was a biography on someone you admired, so naturally, I chose the girl I somewhat worshiped growing up: Krissy Ober.  I thought it would be pretty entertaining to post it as a tribute to her on her 24th birthday:

Krissy Ober

"Krissy is a kind, intelligent, beautiful person.  She affects my life because she is always there for me.  I'm going to talk about her personality, what kind of things she likes, and experiences.

Krissy's personality is so wonderful it's indescribable.  Krissy always helps others and gives a lot.  She is very humorous and funny.  We love to do things like rollerblading down steep hills and that is really scray for me and encourages me in everything. (not great English, but what has changed?)  She is understanding, fun and we have a lot of the same interests.

She loves a lot of things.  She takes a walk on the wild side.  She loves a lot of things like music and does ice skating, gymnastics, and dance.  We love hanging out together and have known each other ten years.  She is unique and seems as if she is perfect in everyway.

We have a lot of experiences together.  We went on a Carribbean cruise when we were seven and eight.  We spent last Christmas Eve together.  We go everywher together and have a lot of sleepovers.  Krissy is loving, caring, beautiful, fun person and that's why she's my best friend."

And that is still why she is my best friend after 22 years!  Not much has changed, we are just a little older, have more responsibility, and know a little bit about the world.  Today, my best friend turns 24.  I look forward to wishing her many more happy birthdays in the future, but hopefully it will be celebrated together, preferably in our 5 year old designed connected houses we have dreamed about for so long.  Happy birthday to my fourth sister that 'technically' isn't blood related!!
