My Little Poopsie

My little poopsie is my sister Laura. Whenever we call each other, the conversation either begins "Hyelllooooo Pet!" or "Ooo hey poopsie" or "Ello schwester!" or something weird like that. Sometimes, I hestitate before answering her call in public because this is not normal lingo you hear from others, but then I shrug and think, many people don't know how fun it is to be this silly.

Well this little poopsie had a birthday yesterday, and I really wish I could've been there. So here are 5 (I originally put 10 but I couldn't think of that many) reasons why I THOUGHT this sister would never be my best friend, and then 10 reasons why she IS my best friend.
1. When we were little, I didn't want to kill a spider in our room so in order for her to kill it, she made me sign a contract stating "Becca is a wuss and can't even kill a spider" or something along those lines.
2. She slapped me when she was sleep talking.
3. When I wouldn't let her wear my shirt, she threw it up in the air and it 'accidentally' landed on a haligen light and burned the shirt.
4. She was better than me, in everything, except dance. =) Which is probably why I continued dancing.
5. She has cooties and when we shared a bed on vacation growing up, we would make a blanket line down the center of the bed so we wouldn't touch each other.

10 reasons why she is my best friend
1. We have seen 5 out of the 6 Harry Potters together on opening day/night, and when she flew out for the last one, I kept squeezing her because her enthusiasm and debate topics on the books were priceless.

2. She took me to the best play in the world on my birthday, "Wicked".
3. She listens to me talk about boys every week and gives me advice and reassures me when they turn out to be jerks.
4. Even though there were several times where we almost killed each other growing up, she was my main play buddy.
5. We endured chicken pox, flu's, and other colds together.
6. I can tell her anything and she never judges me.
7. I can call her at any time of the day...even if it's two in the morning her time and I am hysterical about something.
8. She's gorgeous. Okay so that's not a reason for WHY she's my best friend but I do have good looking friends, I only roll with the best. =)
9. We were co-stars in many films we made.
10. Her music is the one sure thing I own that will make me feel better.
