I forgot to say a few things in the last post, probably because my eyes were so swollen I just wanted to get to bed. Anywho, yes it is true that I had never actually known anyone who got into the school the first time, except for a co-worker who got accepted from the waiting list. I just wanted to be the odds and be the rare, better than the rest type of person. And yesterday after hearing the news I applied for a position in the hospital as a CNA in the NICU, something I have always wanted to do. The CNA's job there is to cuddle the babies and feed the bottles to them, pretty much just giving them love so they can get better. I am going to continue to apply to other dream jobs and work mostly full time next semester because the classes in the health department are easy, and I love making money. =) But I do love my co-workers a lot of Med/Surg so who knows if I will be able to part with them!
And last night I curled up with the first Harry Potter movie and a huge bowl of buttery popcorn. Those two things could quite possibly be my two favorite material things in life. Ryan says that the phrase 'like a pig in mud' is equivalent to 'like a Becca in popcorn.' Ain't that the truth? Other than that, it's hard to treat myself since it is finals time and now I have no desire to study at all.
