I'm almost an adult!

Tax returns suck...and they make you sweat with confusion. My oh so wonderful father did my federal and California tax returns, but it is up to me to do my Utah ones so I can get $132 back. My Dad said I could do it, I just should get someone to help me. Well the problem here is that I can't find anyone who does their own!! I know Mom did hers when she was like 8 years old...but I think times have changed. Luckily, I do have a network of like 60 girls in the sorority so I was able to text this one girl and she is going to help me tomorrow...but I barely know her...so hopefully she doesn't feel like I am using her for her brains. =)
This weekend I think I sprained my ankle. We had our sorority formal on Friday and I was crossing the street to get on the bus that takes us there and my stilleto heel went into a crack in the street and I rolled my ankle. It hurt so bad. Ryan was my date and he has had every injury in the book from soccer and lacrosse, so he knew what to do to make it feel better. He aligned my foot with his hands on the trip there, and then it was okay for while, but my foot is still swollen and I have to be careful when I walk or else I feel a crack. It's not too bad, and I'm hoping it will get better in the next week.
There was only one semi-interesting patient this week. He was a young, rugged looking fella who tried to commit suicide a year ago. He held a gun to his face (in the nose area) and pulled the trigger but he survived it. However, he definitely faces the consequences. He has no nose, just a hole in his face where his nose used to be. He wasn't my patient and I only saw him for a second, but my friend said if you look at him straight on you can see the man's tongue through the hole in his face. So moral of the story...don't try and commit suicide.
And I am so excited right now because I purchased my own bedding set. It should be coming in a couple days and I got it from overstock.com and here's the style I am mimicking:
Cute, right? I got a king down alternative comforter and a king 800tc indigo duvet with two down king sized pillows. I wanted the comforter to be big and hang over the sides so that's why I got it for my queen sized bed. Then, I am off to IKEA to get a dark wood dresser. But that's not going to happen until I rent a U-Haul to get the bed from the Arlington place in Provo. I'm excited to drive a U-Haul truck and be so adult.
This week, I also bought tickets to go to the east coast from June 12-22nd. I got tickets for $416 dollars. So cheap! I will be working the night of the 11th til about midnight, and then my flight on the 12th to Charlotte is at 5:50 AM (AHHH!!) but I might as well try getting on East coast time and Mabes time, and it was the flight with the shortest layover. Then I go to New York on the 18th in the evening, and will stay until the evening of the 22nd and then I have a direct flight home. I'm just counting down the days until school is over and I can just work, lay out in the sun (with maximum sunscreen of course), and get my Tivo hooked up.
