The Lease

Great news...I am not homeless anymore!!! Last night, I signed a lease for this adorable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. I get the master bedroom with an attached bathroom, and a half walk in closet because I am the primary signer and will be taking care of bills. I'll be living with one of my co-workers, Kelsey, and...a girl (Ali) that I met through Craigslist who was looking for a place as well. I know what you're thinking...Craigslist?? Yeah I am taking a chance, but she doesn't seem weird. She's really pretty, which makes me a little self conscious, and she's really laid back and seems incredibly easy to get along with. (She reminds me a lot of a guy actually) Ali is from St. George and went to USD for a year as a freshman. She is actually friends with a girl in Fremont that I used to dance with all the time. Small world. That will be a complete contrast to the girl Lauren who I was suppose to live with. When Lauren and I were looking at the big house back in April, she didn't allow for debate about who would live in the biggest room. She just demanded that it was her and that we'd all pay the same since she found the place. When I asked Ali if she'd want the biggest room, she replied, "Oh I don't care...you take it. Doesn't make a difference to me." So I have high hopes for this year. Only 2 other girls to live with who are both drama-free. The house has big rooms, a living room, a huge new-ish kitchen, a back porch, garden, washer/dryer, and garage. I get to move in now!! Yippeeeeeee!!!
